Hi, I'm Peanut! I'm a gorgeous, sleek 4-year-old gal looking to find the perfect forever home. I am smart, adventurous, and love to curl up nearby to take a nice long nap. I'm even leash trained, although it's been a while since I've been on a walk. I have been a single cat all of my life and am slowly learning to be around others, although I am not sure quite yet if it's for me. I'm great with older children but not so hot with little ones, so no families with small children. To be perfectly honest, I envision myself in a loving, quiet home with 1-2 adults that will simply dote on me all day. I'm ready to get settled in to my perfect home, am I the one for you?

Submit Application

Everyone MUST submit an application to be considered for adoption

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

Home Check

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

Pay Fee

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
