My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FRAZIER is a medium-haired, black and gray tabby teenager kitten.  He looks like he might have a smidge of maine coon mixed in as he is an extra large cat for his age, and he has white tufts of hair coming out of his ears and on top of his ears.  He is a spitfire and is very silly.  He is comfortable in any situation and loves to explore and investigate.  He enjoys any humans that will play with him and he will try to get into your arms.  He is very high energy and loves to roughhouse and would do best in a home with a playful young dog, or with cat-savvy humans who are home most of the time .  He is interested in open doors and what is beyond them, so any home would have to be watchful of him around doors.  He doesn’t go far usually--he just wants to explore anywhere and everywhere.  Frazier is the ultimate ball of fun and would love a home where he gets to play to his heart's delight and be himself!

Frazier has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  You can meet FRAZIER at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in South Eugene (2858 Willamette St) beginning Monday 1/27.  Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet.  The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  ID 2407-C0267

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
