Hi, I'm David! I'm a puppy with a heart full of love and a spirit full of play. I'm the goofball who'll make you laugh with my silly antics, and the sweet companion who'll comfort you with my gentle cuddles. I'm very smart and already sleep through the night. I love making new friends, both human and furry. I love to follow my foster's dog around who has helped me with potty training. I even learned how to use a doggy door. My friendly nature makes me get along with everyone. But what I'd love the most is to have a family of my own. I promise to fill your life with laughter, joy, and unconditional love. Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
