Hello, I'm Dora! I'm a young pup full of love. I'm sweet like sugar, and as gentle as a summer breeze. My mellow nature makes me the perfect companion for quiet nights in. But don't be fooled, I love to play too! Tug-of-war, fetch, hide and seek, you name it. I'm always ready for a game. And cuddles? I can't get enough! I'll snuggle up to you like a warm blanket on a cold night. I'm available as foster to adopt. I can go home you as a foster. I get spayed on February 10th then you can officially adopt me afterwards.

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
