My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nikki
Age: 2,5 year old
Weight: 25 lbs
Vet Record: 100% vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, female

You’ll never be bored with Nikki!
Nikki is small but has a big personality. She’s smart, curious, and loves learning new tricks. Nikki already knows how to give "five" and jump over on command—she’s fun and ready to learn whatever you want to teach her!

At home, Nikki is the perfect mix of loving and independent. She’s calm, well-behaved, and fully house-trained. She loves playing with soft toys, relaxing in the sun, or curling up under the couch for a quiet nap when she needs a break. Nikki may take a couple of days to settle into her new home, observing her surroundings at first. But once she feels comfortable, she’ll become your loyal and loving best friend.

Outside, Nikki is active and adventurous. She walks beautifully on a leash and loves exploring the world—jumping over benches and curbs is one of her favorite activities! But don’t worry, she knows the house rules and never jumps on tables in her foster home. Nikki feels comfortable in the city and enjoys morning jogs with her foster human.

Nikki is playful with other dogs but is respectful if they aren’t interested. The same goes for people—she’s happy to keep you company if you want, but she’s just as happy keeping herself busy or relaxing nearby. Nikki was found on a rural road in Batumi, Georgia with a wound on her nose, but she’s now fully healed and ready for a fresh start.

If you’re searching for a clever, adventurous, and house-trained companion, Nikki might just be the perfect match. Fill out an adoption application today!

Additional adoption info

Sochi Dogs is a non-profit animal rescue that works closely with adopters to help them find the perfect addition to their families. All of our dogs are vetted, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Dog ownership is a long-term commitment so we take our adopters’ needs very seriously. We work on a foster to adopt basis, which allows adopters to get to know their new dog in a relaxed family setting.

For us, the most important things are finding the right family for the right dog. As long as it’s a good match we’re happy to adopt a dog out of state.

Fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website (http://www.sochidogs.org/adoption-inquiry/) and one of our volunteers will give you a call to help match you with your perfect k-9 companion!

We look forward to getting to know you!
