Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi! I'm Georgie! A flippity floppity, wiggly full grown puppy! I'm 12lbs and approximately 9-12 months old. The vet says I probably won't get any bigger based on my xrays. My energy is definitely still puppy energy. I LOVE to play, explore, snuggling on your lap when I'm tired, and still need some training. My foster parents can tell I am very curious, which needs supervision. I am pretty good at potty training so far if I go out every 4 hours and can hold it all night. My preferred sleeping situation is in your bed but I am getting better at the crate and once I share my concern, do settle down and sleep at least 7-8 hours before wanting to pee, eat, and play again. It took me about 6 hours to see my foster mom as my new parent and 12 hours to start to relax in the house. With more time I'll get even more comfortable! Strangers can be a little scary but some people I like straight away! I probably like dog saavy kids who can handle my puppy play side but haven't been tested yet. I may bark a little if I'm scared but not excessively. I'm not sure how I feel about car rides and walks in 20 degree weather but in time, we shall see how these skills develop.

Additional adoption info
Thank you for your interest in adopting from Church of Pug.
Everyone at Church of Pug is a volunteer. We wear many hats - we foster pugs, travel to vet appointments, attend fundraising events, process a lot of paperwork, and more. We make every effort to respond to inquiries in a timely manner but often the days get away from us. For this reason, we will do our best to reach out to everyone. We’ll let you know your application has been received either through a phone call, text or email.
PLEASE take your time completing the below application and fill out questions in detail! This is the information our adoption team will use to make initial determinations when selecting applicants to proceed in the interview process as dogs become available and we begin the process of finding its forever family.
READ the information on each dog's biography page carefully. If you are interested in applying to adopt a dog, please ensure you meet the stated requirements. All of these dogs live with our foster families and that means we know their story -- we understand what they have been through and what they need in a forever home. All decisions are made with the dogs' best interests in mind.
