Meet Gatsby!

Gatsby is a 1.5-year-old spaniel mix who recently made his way to Minnesota from Arkansas. While he wasn’t initially a fan of the colder weather, he’s quickly discovered the joys of outdoor play! Gatsby loves romping around with the resident dog or chasing balls in the yard—he’s full of youthful, playful energy.

Inside, Gatsby transforms into the ultimate cuddle buddy. This affectionate boy adores being close to his humans and will happily curl up in your lap for snuggles.

Gatsby is making great progress with potty training when kept on a schedule and hasn’t had any accidents in his foster home. He has a great appetite and is eager to learn, already showing promise in picking up new tricks.

On leash, Gatsby is still a bit timid and will need patience and continued exposure to build his confidence in new environments. He’s not a fan of the kennel just yet and struggles with being apart from his humans, often whining when kenneled. Because of this, a home without shared walls is recommended until he learns to relax.

Gatsby’s ideal family will understand his need for love, companionship, and continued training. With his sweet temperament and loyal nature, Gatsby is sure to become the perfect companion for someone willing to give him the time and energy he deserves.
