Meet Russell, one of our playful pups from the Christmas Vacation litter! Hes equally cute and tenacious and likes to nap in your lap. Russell is a sweet boy but has a rowdy play style with others. In typical puppy fashion, Russell is full of energy, into everything, curious about everything, and likes to chew. His foster mom describes him as the definition of boys will be boys in puppy form. In his foster home, Russell is working on crate and potty training. Hes not had any accidents in the house and even alerts his foster mom that he needs to go out by pawing at the door. Russell is getting along well with the other dogs in his foster home but does best with allowed slow introductions to new dogs. He is also good with the cats - just curious and wants to play. We estimate that this litter was born around end of September and that they'll be 40-60 lb full-grown. They are mixed breed puppies. Russell will complete his vet care on 1/29 and should be ready to meet his forever family a day or two afterward! Our puppy adoption fee is $300. SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area.
