Looking for a kitten who will run to you like his life depends on it - but might not actually make it because, oh look, a sparkle ball! Meet Dasher (or Dash, if you’re feeling casual).

This little guy is a whirlwind of goofy charm and pure joy, so much so that his foster family almost named him “Happy.” How can they tell he’s living his best life? Check his nose! The pinker it is, the happier he is.

Dash is a kitchen enthusiast (read: he’s always hoping you’ll drop something delicious) and a triple threat when it comes to hobbies: eating, playing, and being loved on. His favorite toys are sparkle balls, plastic springs, and wands - but honestly, anything he can bat, pounce on, or carry away is fair game. Peek-a-boo under the door is his signature game, and he can’t quite understand why people sometimes close doors and end the fun.

When he’s not busy getting into everything, Dash is a big fan of attention. He’s got a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out), and if he thinks he’s alone, you might just hear the tiniest, saddest kitten sobs.

His foster family predicts he’ll spend the next year or two as a charming little thief, stealing hearts and anything small enough to carry. But don’t worry - he’s also a cuddle pro and nap master in the making. For now, though, adventure is calling, and Dash is answering.

Dash is a happy-go-lucky little guy who’s been socialized with men, women, older kids, and other cats and he’s loved every second of it. While he hasn’t met any dogs yet, his foster family is confident he’d make fast friends with a cat-friendly pup. Dash is great with considerate children and has a big, social heart that thrives on companionship.

This friendly fellow will need a home with another cat to keep him company - whether it’s his sister Blitzen or a cat who is already established in the home. If you’re ready for a life filled with kitten antics, endless love, and the occasional game of peek-a-boo, Dasher is your guy!

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
