Meet Aspen – A Sweet, High-Energy Love Bug!

This adorable pup is looking for a loving forever home where he can grow, learn, and bring endless joy. Friendly and affectionate, he loves to cuddle up with you on chilly days and play in the sunshine with his sister. He’s ready to thrive in a home that can provide plenty of love, patience, and playtime.

His Highlights

New People: Loves making new friends!

Children: Unknown but shows a friendly demeanor.

Food Removal: No food aggression—good manners.

Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs.

Cats & Other Pets: Unknown, but he’s eager to meet everyone.

Personality: Friendly but a little shy at first. Once he warms up, he’s a true cuddle bug who loves attention and affection.

Energy Level: High – he’s always ready for an adventure or a fun game of fetch!

Potty Training: Work in progress—he’s doing great with pee pads and learning fast.

Leash Manners: Can be a bit of a puller but is eager to learn with guidance and practice.

A Little More About Him

This sweet pup is learning the ropes of home life and making great progress! He’s already showing potential with commands like “sit” (especially when treats are involved) and is responsive to learning. He’s still mastering his name but responds most of the time. With some consistent training, he’ll be a superstar in no time.

He does well with baths and taking medicine (a slice of hotdog with a hidden pill does the trick!). Chew toys and rawhides are a must to keep him entertained and away from furniture chewing. Crate training is also in progress—he may whine initially but settles down quickly.

If you’re ready to welcome a fun-loving, affectionate pup into your home, he’s ready to meet you! With a little training, he’ll be the perfect addition to your family.

Every pet adopted through our careful matching service benefits from preliminary vaccinations and health care,
the relocation security of microchip identification. The adoption fee is $225-$600 for puppies and adult dog.

Thank you for your interest in saving the lives of these beautiful pets through our foster and adoption program.

To all the people that have called and emailed in hopes of meeting a puppy before our event, we hope you can understand, we cannot meet between events. We truly appreciate you wanting to help by adoption but ask that you make our events. We are a foster based rescue, and all of us have full-time jobs. We simply can't arrange one on one meetings with all of our foster families, our puppies and all the people that want to meet them.

Please do not call the locations of our adoption events as they do not have any information on our available dogs and puppies. We match the family energy level and lifestyle to the puppy's energy level. We do have the right of refusal. Please check out our website at www.rmpuppyrescue.org to download our Pre-adoption form and Requirements form, print, fill out and bring in hand to the event. You can also submit your application online at our website.

Here are some other things we require:

- If you rent, YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF YOUR RENTERS/MORTGAGE AGREEMENT TO THE EVENT. We do this to confirm you own your house or if you rent you are allowed to have a pet in your home. NO EXCEPTIONS.We would like to see if there is a weight or breed restriction. No rescues will be adopted to those persons who do not bring a lease or agreement to the event.

- You must show a valid drivers license, and You must be 19 years or older.

-You MAY NOT bring your dog to our event. This is due to the fact that our puppies have immature immune systems.

-Any animals you own MUST be Spayed or Neutered. NO exceptions.

- RMPR adoption fees are $225-600 this includes your microchip, starter puppy food and of course lots of puppy love!

RMPR Does not take checks. We accept, cash, Visa, MC, and Discover. NO AMEX (sorry)
