My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Grande – The Perfect Blend of Cuddles and Playfulness!

Hi there! I’m Grande, a sweet and snuggly puppy who’s ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion with a touch of charm, I might just be your perfect match!

My Highlights

  • New People: I love meeting new friends—people are the best!

  • Children: Unknown but I’m friendly and adaptable.

  • Food Removal: I have great manners—no food aggression here.

  • Dogs: I get along well with my foster brother and enjoy playtime, but I’m still learning about sharing and picking up on play signals.

  • Cats & Other Pets: Unknown, but I’m curious and open to new experiences.

  • Personality: Outgoing, friendly, and incredibly affectionate—I’m a major cuddle bug!

  • Energy Level: High—I love playtime and adventures but also enjoy winding down with snuggles.

  • Potty Training: I’m doing great! I need to go out often since I’m still little, but I haven’t had any accidents in my foster home.

  • Leash Manners: Excellent—I walk politely and love exploring with my humans.

A Little More About Me

The #1 thing you should know about me is that I love cuddles. I’m sweet, affectionate, and incredibly loyal to my people. I’m confident yet cautious—I’ll settle into your home quickly, but big noises or new places might make me hesitate at first. Don’t worry; I’ll warm up fast with a little encouragement.

Some of my favorite activities include sitting in your lap, eating snow, stealing my foster brother’s bone, following you around the house, and, of course, borrowing your slippers for a quick game of keep-away.

I’ve got great manners! I’m potty trained, have excellent leash skills, and am starting to get comfortable in my crate. I’m still a young, busy boy, but I’m eager to please and love learning new things—especially when treats are involved. I’m already working on basic commands and routines, and I’m a quick study!

I get along wonderfully with my foster brother. We love playing in the backyard, going on walks, and snuggling on the couch. I’m still figuring out how to share and read play signals, but he’s patient with my puppy antics, and I absolutely adore him.

When it comes to my humans, I’m a true lovebug. Whether we’re cuddling on the couch, taking a walk, or working from home together, I just want to be close to you. I’ll happily hang out while you work (as long as I have something good to chew on) and stay nearby for snuggles and companionship.

Why Choose Me?

If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and delightful companion who’s already got the basics down and is ready to learn more, I’m your pup! I’ll bring love, joy, and plenty of cuddles to your life, and I can’t wait to meet my forever family.

Will you be the one to give me the loving home I’ve been dreaming of?

Thank you for your interest in saving the lives of these beautiful pets through our foster and adoption program.

To all the people that have called and emailed in hopes of meeting a puppy before our event, we hope you can understand, we cannot meet between events. We truly appreciate you wanting to help by adoption but ask that you make our events. We are a foster based rescue, and all of us have full-time jobs. We simply can't arrange one on one meetings with all of our foster families, our puppies and all the people that want to meet them.

Please do not call the locations of our adoption events as they do not have any information on our available dogs and puppies. We match the family energy level and lifestyle to the puppy's energy level. We do have the right of refusal. Please check out our website at www.rmpuppyrescue.org to download our Pre-adoption form and Requirements form, print, fill out and bring in hand to the event. You can also submit your application online at our website.

Here are some other things we require:

- If you rent, YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF YOUR RENTERS/MORTGAGE AGREEMENT TO THE EVENT. We do this to confirm you own your house or if you rent you are allowed to have a pet in your home. NO EXCEPTIONS.We would like to see if there is a weight or breed restriction. No rescues will be adopted to those persons who do not bring a lease or agreement to the event.

- You must show a valid drivers license, and You must be 19 years or older.

-You MAY NOT bring your dog to our event. This is due to the fact that our puppies have immature immune systems.

-Any animals you own MUST be Spayed or Neutered. NO exceptions.

- RMPR adoption fees are $225-600 this includes your microchip, starter puppy food and of course lots of puppy love!

RMPR Does not take checks. We accept, cash, Visa, MC, and Discover. NO AMEX (sorry)

RMPR and its directors have the right to refuse the adoption for any reason. Please see our website www.rmpuppyrescue.org for more details on how to adopt.

We appreciate your interest in our lovely rescues. If you would like to join our Puppy Brigade through volunteering or fostering one of our rescues, we would love to have you. Please visit our website for more details.
