Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ryder is a playful and friendly young man who’s eager to find his forever home. He is very affectionate and loves to receive pets and belly rubs. Ryder is still a bit of a puppy at heart despite his large size and could use some polishing of his manners. He is very food-motivated and already has the basics down, and his eagerness to please makes him the perfect candidate for more training. Ryder gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playtime but also appreciates his personal space from his canine friends. He enjoys playing with toys and going on adventures, and his ideal home would provide him with a nice balance of playtime, adventures, and cuddles. He would also benefit from structure and routine to help him settle in.
Ryder is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $150. Please email adoptions@hstt.org for more information.
*We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each dog based on personality and the behavior we’ve observed rather than a breed label.

Pet ownership is a serious responsibility. The policy of the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is to ensure that each person who adopts a pet not only is aware of the responsibility, but that each person is willing and able to accept that responsibility morally, physically and financially. Not every person who desires to own a pet should own a pet.
The adoption application is designed to help us make the best placement possible — the right home for each animal and the right animal for your home. The adoption process takes time because we are committed to giving you all the information and support you need to have a successful adoption. We ask for your patience and cooperation in the joyful process of bringing people and animals together.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTION, YOU MUST:
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Provide a suitable confined area for the animal.
• Understand that the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe reserves the right to deny any adoption.
Our adoption fees are as follows: Dogs (over five months) = $150.00 Puppies (under five months) = $200.00 Cats (over five months) = $75.00 Kittens (under five months) = $100.00 Adoption fees will be due upon completion of adoption. Cash, check or credit cards are gladly accepted.
