My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Watson! A beautiful gray tabby with a heart that is just bursting with love and a zest for play. Let me tell you a bit about myself. My favorite things are toys on sticks and little mice. But what I love most is playing with my brothers, Cuyuna and Bronson. Whether I’m chasing them or they are chasing me, I’m always quick on my feet. I also love to purr. My foster mom says that she just looks at me and I start to rumble. I’m a happy kitty.

I’m also very affectionate. I love being around people and can’t wait to give you all the cuddles and purrs you could wish for. I’m looking for a family where I can share all my love and playfulness. Imagine me being. A part of your life, bringing a smile to your life and warming your lap with my cuddles. I’m looking for a family to call my own. Please come and meet me and see how much joy I can bring to your life.

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Watkins will need to be adopted with one of their siblings (Bronson or Cuyuna).

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
