Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This wonderful girl is 11-12 weeks old. Her momma is a beautiful 50-60 pound Labrador/Pitbull mix and we think that Dad was the Great Pyrenees who has been hanging about. How big will Katie get? We are not sure, but we think that she will at least reach mom's size.
She loves love. She is so happy to get held and get snuggles. She wants to be with her person and will just melt into your arms when you hold her. Katie is super athletic. If anyone was looking for a dog to do agility training, she’d be your girl. She loves to play with other dogs and is learning boundaries and when to let the other dog have a break.
She is working on potty training, but is not there yet. She is great at sleeping overnight in her crate.
She has not been around cats or little kids yet, but we think that she would do well with both.
Katie will be ready to go home with her forever family on February 8th. For now she is taking adoption applications in order to be matched up with a family!
Let's get Katie a home!

More about this rescue
The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. We believe that all companion pets have intrinsic value and should be treated with the reverence and care they deserve.
