Hi there, I`m Layla! I`m a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to my energy level - I can be quite playful and energetic at times, but I also really enjoy my chill moments where I can just relax and take it easy.
When it comes to meeting new people, I tend to be a little more reserved at first. It takes me a bit of time to warm up and feel comfortable around unfamiliar faces. But once I get to know you, I`m such a loving and affectionate girl! I really enjoy being petted, as long as it`s at my own pace.
I actually have a furry best friend named Suki, who is a beagle. I absolutely adore her and love following her around everywhere she goes. We have so much fun playing and exploring together. As for other pets, I`m generally pretty good with them, as long as they`re respectful of my boundaries. I recently spent some time with cats, and I did very well with them! I gave them their space, and I know that I would do fine with cats in the future.
My favorite things are toys - I`ll never turn down a good game of fetch or tug-of-war! And of course, I love my favorite people and treats. My least favorite things used to be wearing a harness and collar, but I`m getting much more comfortable with that now, and hopefully soon I will be able to walk on a leash all by myself! I may still get a little nervous about it at first, but I don`t even notice them once they`re on.
What makes me so special is my affectionate nature once I`ve gotten to know you. I may take a little longer to warm up, but when I do, I`ll shower you with love and cuddles. I`m also just a generally happy and delightful pup who loves life.
I think the ideal home for me would be one with at least one other dog, and patient humans who understand that I need a little extra time to feel secure. A fenced-in yard would be perfect since I can get a bit scared in new situations. But with time and love, I blossom into the most wonderful companion. If you have the time and space for a girl like me, I`d love to meet you!
