Hi there! I’m Angelica, and I’m just the sweetest, happiest girl you’ll ever meet!
I’m a hound mix, a little over a year old, and I weigh around 50 pounds of pure love and energy. My favorite things are running around and playing with my dog friends—especially my younger buddy who’s a border collie/retriever mix. We have so much fun together, but I’m also great with my senior beagle pal, though we like to hang out in our own ways.
When I’m not running and playing, I’m all about snuggling up with you. I love to curl up on the couch and rest my head on your lap while you give me lots of pets! If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy after a long day, I’m your girl. Even though I’ve got tons of energy, I know how to kick back and take a nice nap once I’ve had my playtime.
I’m still learning a few things, like walking perfectly on a leash, because I can get a little excited when I see something I want to chase (those squirrels don’t stand a chance!). But I’m super smart, and I’m always eager to learn and get better at everything I do. I’m also really food motivated—so training is a lot of fun for me!
I’m mostly potty trained, but sometimes if I’m too excited or we miss a cue, I might have a little accident inside. I’m working hard on it, though! And once nighttime comes, I’m a champ in my crate. I sleep well and wake up ready for a new adventure!
I’d love to have a family who loves being active, whether it’s going for walks, runs, or playing in a big fenced-in yard. Older kids who can match my energy would be a bonus! I’m looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise and attention. I may get a little whiny when I’m left alone, so I’d really enjoy a family that’s around a lot or takes me on fun outings!
