Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there! I`m Sapphire. I’m a shy but sweet girl, and I’m looking for a family that understands I need a little time to trust. I’m not one to rush into things, but once I feel safe, I’m a loyal and loving companion.
I’ve got a good balance of energy — I love to play fetch and, when I’m feeling chill, I’ll happily entertain myself with a game of fetch on my own. I also really enjoy being outdoors, no matter the weather, and I’m especially excited about my walks. You’ll see me get all wiggly with excitement when I see that leash!
One of my favorite things in life now is belly rubs — they’re *the best*! I may have been a little unsure about getting in the car at first, but once I’m in, I’m totally cool. It’s just the getting in part that still makes me nervous, but I promise, I’m a well-behaved passenger.
I’m super friendly with other dogs! I have a weekly playdate with my dog friend Jolly, who was adopted from AHS too and we have a blast together. I’d do really well in a home with another dog who can be my buddy.
Though I’m a little shy and may take some time to warm up to new people, I promise you that I’m a kind soul with no aggression in me. I’m just waiting for the right family who will be patient with me and let me take things at my own pace. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle dog to bring into your home, I could be the one for you!
