Hi, I’m Lady Whiskerdown, but you can call me Lady! I’m very friendly, and I love to be pet. My foster mom says I have a big purr when I’m getting the good pets, and my favorite pets are definitely butt scritches! I’ve liked every human I’ve met so far. Sometimes I’m a little nervous at first, but I warm up very quickly. I haven’t met any small humans though — only the big ones. I’m not sure if I would do well with small children because while I love humans and I love to be pet, sometimes I want my own rest and relaxation time. I appreciate a human that can respect boundaries.
I have mastered catching the feather toys that my foster mom swings around. I like playing with wand toys every day, but overall I’m not very high energy. Sometimes I like to roll around in catnip, too!
I also LOVE to look out the window. I spend a lot of time at my window perch keeping watch over the neighborhood. When I’m not at my window, I’m usually napping in my cat cave. I also really like to sit on the desk while my foster parents work or find a sunny spot on their bed to nap. I’m typically pretty quiet, but I get talkative when it’s food time or when I’m asking to be pet!
Oh and also, I don’t think I like other cats — my foster mom has been working on slow introductions to her cats, but so far I’m not a fan. I`m fine hanging around my foster mom`s dog though because he gives me space. I might be okay with other dogs as long as they’re chill and respect my personal space. I’ve also made friends with the bearded dragon here!
I am on a special diet for my food allergies, and I potentially have some environmental allergies which my foster mom can tell you more about. I should also tell you that I am a PRO at using the litter box. I have never had an accident!
I qualify for Foster First, which means you can foster me for 14 days prior to adoption to ensure I`m the perfect fit for your family.
Fill out a pre-adoption application at the link above to come meet me at my foster home. I can’t wait to meet you!
Xoxo, Lady
