My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Hazel! I might be a little older, but I promise I’ve got a heart full of love and plenty of cozy snuggles to share. Life has been a little quieter for me lately, and I’m ready to find a home that’s just as calm and gentle as I am. I am actually pretty active for my age and love to go on hikes.

I’m a senior girl who enjoys the simple pleasures in life—like following my favorite person around the house, sleeping soundly through the night, and soaking up the warmth of your love and attention. I’m house trained, super quiet, and enjoy a peaceful, low-key environment. While I’m not the biggest fan of young kids, I absolutely thrive in a calm, mature home where I can feel safe and cherished.

I’m also making great strides in coming out of my shell and gaining some confidence. I’ve been putting on a little weight, which makes me feel so much better, and I’m beginning to trust more each day. Though I may take a little time to fully warm up, when I do, I’ll be your loyal companion, always by your side.

If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet, and gentle senior to share your life with, I just might be the one! I’m ready for a slow-paced life filled with love, comfort, and quiet companionship-but also love to go on walks and have more energy than you think! I am not destructive inside , and enjoy the company of other dogs but I will chase cats, so no cats. Could we be the perfect match?

With love,
Hazel
