Kody is an adorable, bouncy, 10lb, 7-month-old Border Terrier mix!
Background: Kody was found as a stray—can you believe someone would abandon this precious baby boy?
Personality: Kody is a bundle of joy! He is a curious boy who likes to explore. He loves to play with toys and other dogs before napping in his foster parent’s lap, Kody loves to be with his people—at their feet, in their lap, you name it! He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He will take breaks to play with toys but happily returns to the lap where he came from.
Health: Koday is neutered and has a microchip implanted. He has received rabies, bordetella and the first set of distemper/parvo vaccines. The rescue will pay for his remaining puppy shots at our clinic.
Training: As a young puppy, Kody is still learning the ropes. He is working on potty training in his foster home but will need continued training.
Ideal Home: Kody would thrive in just about any kind of home where he can get plenty of love and attention. He would do well with a family that has the time to continue his training and socialization. Kody gets along well with other dogs and gets excited when he sees children. He loves to run so a securely fenced in yard is a must.
Adoption Fee: Kody’s adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses as outlined above. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think he could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application* at: https://www.helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application/.
*Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up.
