My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Maple, what's yours???

I'ma young shepherd mix who is dreaming of the day I get to go home with my new family!!!

I came to Heal Animal Rescue as a stray and unfortunately I wasn't able to find my way back to my original family. I sure do hope my new family comes to adopt me soon!!!

Since I've been here at Heal I am now up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. The vet is guessing I'm around 6 months old.

In my new home I will need my family to teach me all of the things a good dog should know as I grow up. So please make sure you have the time and patience to devote to my training.

If you think I'm the pup that is meant to be in your family please stop by Heal and spend some time getting to know me! I'll be excited to meet you!!!

More about this shelter

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned and abused dogs and cats. It depends on donations, sponsorships and other tangible support from local residents and businesses.

Our vision is a self sustaining, no-kill shelter which will house the animals until they find their forever home. Additionally, it is our goal to breed awareness, stimulate education and inspire the public to become animal advocates.

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a voice for those that cannot speak. Join us in speaking for those that need us most . . . the animals.
