My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shade, a feline full of life, ready to fill your home with joy. Her playful spirit is infectious, and her sweetness will melt your heart. She's the epitome of friendliness, always ready to greet you with a purr and a playful swat. Shade's sociable nature extends to her fellow feline friends too, making her an excellent companion for households with other cats. Her charm lies in her gentle demeanor and playful antics that never fail to bring a smile. Adopt Shade to experience the unconditional love and companionship that only a pet like her can offer. If you're looking for a duo consider adopting Shade's sister, Bluebell.
We're currently working on getting Shade spayed, until fixed she must be adopted within the Huntsville Metro Area. Apply at ghhs.org

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
