My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Poupon, a delightful feline who's always ready for a game or a new adventure. He loves to play, whether it's with a feather on a string or a laser pointer dot. He's quick to make friends with both humans and other cats, making him a perfect addition to any family. Poupon's friendly and playful nature, along with his curiosity, makes him a joy to be around. His ability to get along with other cats means he could fit perfectly into a home with existing pets. Adopt Poupon and let his playful, curious nature bring joy to your home.
We're currently working on getting Poupon neutered, until fixed he can only be adopted within the Huntsville Metro Area. Come meet Poupon, or apply at ghhs.org.

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
