My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Bear. My days in the shelter are filled with gentle purrs and soft cuddles. I'm a simple cat, a soft touch, a sweet whisper of a friend, and I love nothing more than a gentle hand stroking my fur. My heart beats in rhythm with the kindness around me, and I am always ready to share my warmth with those who show me love. I may be an adult, but my spirit is as playful as a kitten's. I can bring a soft touch of comfort to your home, a gentle purr to your quiet nights. Adopt me, not just because I need a home, but because every home needs a Bear.

More about this shelter

Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cats and people in our community. We provide counseling, information, and resources to empower people to support their cats and others in the community. If cats cannot stay with their families or neighborhoods, we prioritize our intake on cats most at risk - cats in need of rehoming; kittens who need specialized care; and cats who have been abandoned, are sick or injured, or are not thriving in the community. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of attention and care for cats in our adoption program and provide a modern, free-roaming adoption center to minimize stress, serve the individual needs of each cat, and set up both cats and adopters for success.
