Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rascal is a sweet and cuddly kitten who loves to play. Her favorite toys have feathers and bells! When she is not playing, she likes to lounge on your lap and purr. She is not a fan of being picked up however, and would prefer to approach you at her own pace. She has lived with other cats before but should have a slow introduction to any other cats in your home. We do not know if she has ever had experience with dogs or children. She is accustomed to living indoors. Rascal was treated for an injury while here at Dakin. While we do not feel she will have any issues in the immediate future, she may need veterinary intervention later in her life. Rascal may do better not having to make high jumps in her new home, so lower climbing spaces and beds will work best for her. Animals in Dakin's P.A.W.S. Program (Program for Animal Wellness) have a wide variety of special needs and are in search of their hero adopter. Each animal has a unique story and their needs range from complex medical care to finding a home that can simply offer extra patience and understanding. Our P.A.W.S. Program is made possible through the generosity of our donors who allow us to go the extra mile for animals with special needs on their journeys to loving homes.
