Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sylvie, commonly known as Sniffs, is the total package! Sniffs is a 1 year old female Gordon Setter surrendered from a commercial breeder. They don’t call her sniffs for nothing! That nose is always working overtime. Sniffs is the perfect combination of boundless energy and affectionate cuddles. She loves nothing more than running around, exploring the great outdoors, and playing fetch. When she’s not on the move, you’ll find her right by your side, offering sweet snuggles and endless tail wags.
Sniffs is an intelligent and eager-to-please girl, making her a quick learner who’s always up for a new challenge. She's great with other dogs and would love a companion to share her playful spirit, but she’s also happy to be the center of attention if you're looking for a solo dog. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and has good manners, though she can still benefit from some extra training to hone her skills.
This sweet girl is looking for an active home where she can get plenty of exercise and love. If you're ready for a loyal, affectionate companion with plenty of energy to keep up with your adventures, sniffs might be your perfect match!
Sniffs is spayed and UTD on her shots. She is being fostered in Sicklerville, NJ and any potential adopter would need to meet travel to meet her. If Sniffs is a good fit, please apply!

Who We Are:
Zoe's House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare group based out of Sinking Spring,PA. We are comprised solely of volunteers that generously volunteer their time, their homes and their hearts. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected or abandoned animals from high kill shelters or from owners who can no longer care for them. We provide the animals with loving foster care, veterinary treatment and rehabilitation until we are able to pair them with compatible and loving forever homes. At times we also offer permanent sanctuary to those with special or medical needs and that are considered unadoptable.
Zoe's House serves as a resource to our community and to our adopters by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spay/neuter, behavior training, nutrition, puppy mill awareness, heartworm preventative and breed education. Our organization also networks with other shelters and rescues. We try to assist other organizations when possible.
Zoe’s House is not federally funded, and relies solely on donations to continue to rescue. Although we are not breed specific, the need to save Dobermans, Rottweilers, German Shepherds and Pitbulls is ever growing; therefore, we have focused primarily on saving the lives of our beloved and majestic strong breeds.
What We do:
There are many people involved in the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of each dog we take in. Our rescue effort starts with the initial intake request for a dog. Whether this be at a shelter of from an individual in the community, we try to gather as much information as we can. We then pickup or transport the dog to safety in rescue. At this time we administer immediate veterinary care to determine the health of the dog and ensure the animal has proper immunizations. We also have bloodwork done for a heartworm check, lyme, fecal and sometimes a blood panel depending on the age and health of the dog. The dog remains in "in-home" foster care and becomes a part of the fosters family for an undefined period of time. We evaluate the dog and work on basic manners and obedience. At times we have dogs for a longer duration due to health and/or age. The dogs in our care come with us to adoption events, home screenings, and ultimately permanent placement. Zoe's House then provides post-adoption follow-up and support and welcomes the new family to the "Zoe's House Family!" We strive to stay in close contact with all of our adopters to ensure the transition and life long relationship continues to be magical. We remain dedicated to the principal that we never want one of our rescues to end up in a shelter or in a home that does not provide a responsible and loving environment for the life of the animal.
We truly believe that one dog at a time... we are making a difference!
