Holly is probably a tri-color pitbull mix, what is for certain is she is a 100% lover! She is excellent with other dogs, is amazing with the toddler in her foster home and loves meeting new people in a comfortable environment. She is still timid on walks when introduced to new people or loud sounds. Holly has shown ZERO signs of aggression and a MILLION signs of love and affection. She loves being a part of a family. Want to snuggle on the couch? She's in! Want to go for a walk? Great! Car ride? Awesome! Bath time? Yes, please - PS, she loves the hair dryer! She is an easy going gal who requires walks most days. She needs some ongoing training for leash training and commands. Holly does excellent with her crate and potty training. Let Holly win your heart and the hearts of those around you! Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
