Meet Missy – A Loyal Heart Ready for a Second Chance!
Missy is a beautiful Cattle Dog mix, born August 27, 2020, who is looking for a fresh start and a forever home filled with love and patience. After being abandoned at a local doggy daycare, Missy found her way to us, and now we’re on a mission to find her the perfect family.
What We Know About Missy: Loyal to her favorites – Missy loves women but isn’t a fan of men. Dog-friendly – She thrives with other dogs and would do best in a home with a canine companion. Active & playful – She enjoys fun adventures and needs a family who can keep up with her energy. Needs time to trust – Due to her past, Missy takes time to warm up to new people, but having a doggy friend by her side helps her feel safe. House & kennel trained – She’s got the basics down! Leash manners in progress – Missy does tend to pull on the leash, so a little training will go a long way. Best in an adult-only home – We recommend a home without children.
Missy deserves a patient, understanding adopter who will give her the second chance at happiness she rightfully deserves. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this special girl, apply online today at eastshoreha.org. Once we review your application, our team will reach out to schedule a personal meet and greet with Missy!
Let’s find Missy the loving forever home she’s been waiting for!

Additional adoption info
Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:
1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.
2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.
Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.
Adoption Requirements:
1. Have verifiable identification
2. Be at least 18 years of age
3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home
4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered
5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier
6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
