Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Phoebe is a sweet 6 year old 45lb girl looking for a forever home. She was adopted as a puppy and recently returned to rescue. She is fully house/crate trained and does well with other dogs after a slow introduction - she can be a little pushy so does best with dogs that can handle that in their play. She loves all people, we are suggesting older kids as she can be a bit jumpy and might accidentally knock littles over. She does well on car rides and at the vet, pulls a bit on walks but is a great listener. She gets curious with cats and wants to chase them, but if you're open/willing to work on it and have a safe space for the cats to go she would probably adjust with time. Phoebe has been on immuno-allergy drops due to some skin and fur reactions to outdoor things - we have been doing them about every other day in her foster home and it seems to be going well. She may or may not need them in the future; anyone who adopts her will get the current supply, which should last at least the rest of the year. She's a nice dog who just wants to be with her people and get love! If interested in meeting this lady, please apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org and we will reach out to schedule a meet. All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots.
Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.
