Meet Mallory!

This pretty little thing recently arrived at FDHS as a stray with very little information on her past. Mallory is very timid here at the shelter and is still working on decompressing and coming out of her shell. She's begun to warm up to some of our staff and really enjoys someone sitting in her kennel and giving her treats.

Mallory is still a very young dog and will likely require some training. She has no clue what to do on leash and would likely thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard. Slow and steady wins the race with this little girl! She doesn't seem to mind the other shelter dogs passing her kennel, but we always encourage a Meet & Greet with any potential fur-siblings.

Once an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app.
*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
Can take 1-3 days for approval or denial. Please be patient with us.
Animals are not first come, first serve. We work to find the best homes possible for not only the adopters, but our animals.
