My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Lea, a 3-year-old small Husky who’s as sweet and social as they come! Lea is a compact bundle of joy with a big heart, and she absolutely loves being around people and other dogs. Whether you’re entertaining guests or taking a stroll through the park, she’ll be right by your side, wagging her tail and ready to make new friends.

True to her Husky roots, Lea is quite the talker! She loves to chat and will make her opinions known with her signature Husky howls and `talking` sounds. If you’re looking for a dog with personality and flair, Lea is your girl. She’ll keep you entertained with her charming vocalizations and quirky antics.

Despite her playful energy, Lea has a gentle, loving side and enjoys snuggling up when the playtime winds down. She’s the perfect companion for anyone who loves an active, social, and chatty dog who will keep you laughing and loved.

If you’re looking for a spunky, affectionate, and talkative furball to add to your home, Lea would love to meet you! She’s ready to bring her social spirit and Husky charm into your life.

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
