Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi I'm Hazel ...as in sweet Hazel nut creamer! I'm sweet and delicious with a bold nutty flavor. When we got here I was under the impression we were getting a cabin for 4 and don't you know- they messed up the reservation and had to put us all in singles? Well I had something to say about that let me tell you, taking my babies away from me. HUH! I could hear them next door staying up all night. But you know after a few days of R and R I didn't really mind a solo vaca. So now I get to go to Yappy hour and listen to whatever music I want to and watch MY shows. It's really nice. I'm a mama bear at heart, but now that my kids are grown, it's me time!! I'm enjoying walks in the sunshine, running in the yard, singing at the top of my lungs 🎵it's raining men hallelujah🎵 ... and it really is raining men here. So much for a family resort, there are some real hotties here. I strut my stuff down A row and rather enjoy the whistles. I still got it! Come and check me out! We can walk and talk and have adventures. Like the yummy first sip of hot coffee in the morning with the beautifully sweet Hazel nut creamer, you will drink me in and be hooked!! Then the caffeine will kick in and we be ready to goooo!! Maybe hiking, cooking, car rides, and take me to the beach baby!! I'm ready to let the good times roll! 🟢🌕 Came in with 2 pups and a hubby. Ready to meet and greet some sweet new faces. 🌕⚠️ ❌Cats... I bounce lunge and barky bark at them. They give me the creeps. I don't think I want to live with them. 🟢Like people who are my speed. I'm 64 pounds of confidence, beauty, love and fun all rolled into one !! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 66.4 Age: 2yrs 0mths 3wks

There is a contract and all potential adopters meet with adoption counselor to talk about application and make sure pet is good fit with the person and family. More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Wicomico County was started in 1968 by a group of people who wanted to help improve the lives of animals. We have come a long way in our 40+ years! We have a staff dedicated to making sure the animals that come to our doors are loved and protected as they wait for their forever home. Not only are our animals vaccinated, wormed and given flea preventative, we can treat animals that come to us with mange, ringworm, heartworm and pay for animals to be seen by an outside vet should there be a need. We have an on-site spay/neuter clinic that not only is used for our animals but we also offer low cost spay/neuter for animals of the public. We provide emergency boarding for victims of domestic abuse, fire, and medical emergencies. We also have the capability to set up an off-site emergency shelter for people evacuated from their homes. In addition, we have an education program to help teach kids about being a responsible pet guardian. We work with a wide range of rescue groups and our animals have been transported from our mid-Atlantic area throughout the North Eastern United States. Our shelter is an open admission shelter and we will take in approximately 3500 animals this year. We do what we do because of our love for animals and our desire to make a difference in their lives every single day.
