Meet Woori! A 1 year old mixed breed pup who is ready to find her forever family .
Woori is a social butterfly who loves people—both familiar faces and strangers alike! She happily approaches new people, leans in for affection, and has no problem being touched. She’s equally friendly with both men and women and remains calm around children under 13. You can even scoop her up with your arms under her belly, and once she’s comfortable, she’ll roll over to show you her belly for rubs.
Her love for socializing extends to other dogs, too! Woori enjoys making new canine friends, greeting them enthusiastically and inviting them to play. Whether they’re big, small, energetic, or calm, she gets along with everyone. If another dog gets a little too rowdy, she prefers to avoid conflict rather than engage. She would thrive in a home with another dog to keep her company and would make an amazing furry companion.
While Woori hasn’t lived with cats before, she shows no signs of aggression, so with the right introduction, she could do well in a home with feline friends.
She has a moderate energy level—she loves outdoor activities but is also happy to relax after a good outing. Since she only recently started going on walks, she needs a little time to get comfortable in new environments. At first, she might hesitate, but with some patience and gentle guidance using a harness and leash, she gets the hang of it quickly. She doesn’t overreact to sights or sounds, and even if something startles her, she recovers quickly without panicking. She’s fine with being picked up, and while she might take a small step back at first, she won’t try to run away if you move slowly.
When it comes to car rides, she’s quiet and well-behaved—no barking, drooling, or escape attempts. She does get a little nervous and tends to lie down frozen, so she’ll need some encouragement to build confidence. At first, she wasn’t interested in treats during walks, but as she gained confidence, she started accepting them—even while on the move!
Woori is polite when it comes to food—she doesn’t guard her meals and is happy to share treats with people and other dogs. She does bark when confined, but this is expected to improve in a home environment. She’s calm in a kennel and prefers to do her business outside.
Rescued from a city shelter alongside her buddy Doori(adopted in Montreal), this sweet girl is ready to find her forever home!
Overall, Woori is a gentle, affectionate, and social pup looking for a loving home. Whether she’s making friends with people or dogs, she’s always ready to spread love and warmth. If you’re looking for a sweet, adaptable companion, Woori might just be the perfect match for you!
