Basenji German Shepherd Dog

Story
Aurora was one of seven 7-month-old puppies rescued from the streets in terrible condition. After being taken to the local shelter, these vulnerable pups were scheduled for euthanasia due to sarcoptic mange—a contagious but completely treatable condition. Now fully recovered and thriving, Aurora is ready to begin the next chapter of her life in a loving forever home. This impressive young pup is fully house-trained and crate-trained, walks politely on leash and responds well to basic commands. Aurora possesses an innate sweetness that shines through her more independent, somewhat laid-back personality. Unlike some overly energetic young dogs, she carries herself with a quiet dignity that makes her a peaceful presence in the home. Her intelligence means she would excel with advanced training opportunities that challenge her mind and build her confidence. While Aurora shows remarkable confidence and playfulness with her trusted humans, she is shy when encountering new situations, dogs and people. Her reserved nature in unfamiliar settings means she'll flourish in an adult-only household with patient adopters who understand that building trust takes time. Aurora would benefit tremendously from having a confident doggy sibling in her forever home to help her build confidence and improve her social skills. Aurora’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. Could you provide the quiet, understanding environment where this special girl can finally feel safe, secure and truly loved? Apply here: https://lovethemallrescue.org/adopt

Story
HELLOOO new family! I am so excited to meet you! I'm gonna have you giggling nonstop because I'm so happy and goofy. I was born without the piece of my brain that helps me balance (*cerebellar hypoplasia), so I wiggle all over the place. Basically I just love to dance funky all the time! I'm probably gonna be famous soon, so you should adopt me before the pup-parazzi finds me and the whole world wants in on this cuteness. And don't worry, I'm not going to get any worse--I just need you to love me as I am: crazy dancer but always happy to see you. Bonus? I'm already kennel & potty trained. Just because I'm goofy doesn't mean I don't know how to behave! Contact Mayday if you'd like to meet me and I promise to show you all my moves! Ali might be good with older children and would do best in a home without other dogs. *Cerebellar hypoplasia is a permanent neurological condition that causes permanent balance and coordination issues. Cerebellar hypoplasia causes jerky movements, tremors and generally uncoordinated motion. The animal often falls down and has trouble walking. To manage this condition for your pet, it is vital that you understand your pet's physical limitations. As your pet may have difficulty controlling movement, you may need to assist your pet when eating and drinking. Providing your pet with a safe environment is essential. Due to the imbalance and wide stance, stairs and uneven ground may cause a hazard. A non-slip, flat surface, such as carpeting, is an ideal environment for your pet.* If you are interested in adopting or fostering, please visit our site at www.maydaypitbullrescue.org or send us an email at info@maydaypitbullrescue.org ##654651##
