Dog's Name: Baby Paul (PAU0724MCTMD) Estimated Breed: Basset Hound MixApproximate Age: DOB 5/11/2024Approximate Weight: 10 LBS Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Baby Paul! Paul is part of the Beatles Litter. This litter of four came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. Paul is currently staying in a foster home, but what he really wants is to find his forever home. Could that be with you? Paul is your typical puppy. He is sweet, friendly, and playful. At Paul's young age, he is in his prime for training and socialization too. Paul is ready to be your devoted friend for life. His loving nature makes him the perfect addition to an active home, ready to offer unconditional love and companionship. Adopt Paul, and let his sweetness and love warm your heart.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
