Rocky is a happy boy who would be even happier if he could find a loving forever home. He is just the right size for cuddling and will lap up all the affection he can get. If you are looking for a best buddy, then look no further -- Rocky is the guy for you! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Ronan is an 8-year-old Basset Hound mix with a lot of personality. He weighs 40 pounds and wears a short coat of reddish-brown that glistens in the sunlight.  So handsome! Ronan enjoys pets and cuddles but also prefers to sleep alone.  In fact, he would do best in a home without another pet.  He loves the car and sticking his head out the window to feel the wind in his face, and he’ll sit for hours sunbathing!  Ronan enjoys his walks and would like a fenced yard.  He’s house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands.  He’s a good fella!  (posted 6/2/24, R)    **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** ADOPTION/TRANSPORT FEE:  $250.00July 14, 2024, 1:15 pm
