Jake came to us after being relinquished to a shelter because he wasn't happy when the new baby started to crawl. Well ya know what Jake? I'm right there with ya buddy! Those little buggers are a pain in the curly tail when they get mobile! Speaking of Curley tail...check out his tail! We don't know why.  He is a mix but looks very bassety so who knows where the tail came from! Jake is a big fan of toys tho! Has been emptying out his Foster's toy box! He gets along with other dogs but is not a cat fan. Jake is house broken, up to date, chipped and fixed. A fenced in yard would be nice but not a deal breaker for this guy. He is currently in Columbus. If you are interested in Jake or ANY of our dogs you MUST APPLY FIRST. Apps can be filled out at Ohiobassetrescue.com. Please don't email us and tell us you're interested it won't speed up the process. You must be an approved adopter to move forward! Bubba came back to us after his human daddy passed away and his momma couldn't give him a yard or time with needing to move into an apartment and her work schedule. He is a super sweet boy who loves to get cuddles! He is about 4 years old and is a basset pit mix. He has the body and stance of a basset but a pit head and ears. He has the prettiest markings on his ears too! Bubba will need a home with a fence. He is good with other dogs, not cat tested. Bubba is all up to date and neutered and comes with his food, 2 beds and toys! He is house trained! He is being fostered near Dayton. Spud is quite the interesting happy little guy with his short stubby legs to his full face smile. This guy enjoys going on walks where he is very inquisitive with his surroundings and enjoys getting lots of pets. Spud is vaccinated and just waiting for his forever human that will love an spoil him. If you feel that he would fit right in to your family, please call the shelter at 937-498-7201 to schedule a meet and greet. Lobby hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-12. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 with Saturday by appointment.
