This charmingly handsome boy's name is McCartney and he is a little puppy born to a Pure Bassett momma who had a litter of six pups.   Mccartney is a very sweet gentle lay back little guy who is 12 weeks old and weighs fourteen pounds.  He is a comical little thing that loves to sniff the ground and run on his short little Bassett legs and sit in your lap for sweet cuddles and kisses.  This little guy is learning what a warm house  and good food two or three times a day is all about. He has a Big Brother who is an adult Golden Retriever male, and he is learning a lot from this 80 pound dog who belongs to his foster parents.  McCartney is going to be a head turner with his vivid white and black spotted long body, short little legs and his sweet endearing face framed with those Hound dog ears.  If you are interested in adopting McCartney, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at Ccrnewengland@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Meet Shautae!  This shortstack of sweetness wants your help finding a forever family. Shautae, we we affectionately call Taetae and Shorty, is an absolutely adorable mixed breed with an estimated birthday of 09/01/2020. There has been some debate amoung our staff about what breed she is, but we have settled on a Pointer-Basset hound mix, weighing in aroudn 45lbs. What Shorty lack in height, she more than makes up for in her loving personality. Shorty makes friends as easy as pie, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wasn't charmed by her tiny little legs. If you were to ask our staff about some of Taetae's favorite things, they would probably tell you how much she loves to lounge in the sun! This beautiful girl will take every chance she can get to lay out on one of her beds in the sunshine and catch some rays. Shautae also loves the company of other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She is suited to a home without cats. Shautae does great with kids around 10yr and up, but younger kids tend to stress her out, so a home without little ones is best.  Shautae is fully vetted and spayed, her adoption fee is $175. Meet Pearl Jam AKA P.J.! P.J. was rescued from a hoarding situation by another rescue and we offered to help him find a home. He has been waiting for a FURever home since 10/2023 for some crazy reason. P.J. is your typical happy go lucky, sweet Beagle/Bassett mix boy! He is friendly with all people and MOST other dogs (as long as they don’t try to eat his food). He is around 2-3 years old and weighs 37 pounds. He is a cute (chunky)“low rider”! He is neutered, current on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and current on heartworm preventative. He is crate trained, but does need outside to potty regularly until he settles in. Pearl Jam either needs to have a secure fenced in yard to play/potty in (not to live in) OR someone willing to walk him several times a day. He seems like the type that would be fine with or without another dog. He loves being near his people and will let you know when he’s done being alone too! lol Best in a home without cats, as he occasionally will chase. The adoption fee is $150 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. Jake is a fun loving, easy going, energetic meatball! He's about 2-3yo, UTD on shots, HW negative, neutered, & definitely a lover not a fighter! Jake is also HW negative & 62lbs! Does good with dogs & all adults! He literally just wants to be loved on & was so excited to get to go riding, he just laid by me & wanted to be touched the whole time! Jake's smile will melt your heart! He was picked up as a stray on 7-6-23. Jake LOVES to ride, walk, play, chew on Kong toys, play in water, &&&& cuddle! Because Mr Jumping Jake thinks he is Rocky Balboa, he needs to be in a house with no small kids, small dogs, or cats. Not because he doesn't like them, he is just a rough player & may accidentally plow them over. Jake does great in a crate with his Kong toys. Jake would do best with someone who will provide some structure and obedience training. He needs some help learning how to use his energetic personality in a positive way. He's super food motivated and the training possibilities are endless! He absolutely LOVES playing in the water at the local Waterpaws event! And he met tons of new friends!
