Story
When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! I am ready when you are, do your stuff so we can ride off into the sunset, in air conditioning, of course! Adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/GDR/Dog Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Steve has heart-stopping good looks, accented by his floppy ears! And nothing seems to rattle this way too cool boy, except maybe moles. We took him for a day out at a farm recently and we couldn't figure out why he kept barking at the grass. Can't say we've ever seen that before. It wasn't until the owner of the farm told us that she had moles that we figured out what Steve was carrying on about. He didn't get a chance to dig any moles up but he was definitely on the hunt! After a long day of searching for moles and meeting farm animals, Steve let us know he was tired and ready to return to New Leash on Life by jumping in the car. Of course, he got in on the driver's side but since he's only ten years old, he doesn't have his license yet. Sorry Steve! In case you're wondering, Steve is what we call a Bagle Hound, a Basset/Beagle mix. Typical of his mix, he's laid-back and easy-going, he does well with kids, and other dogs. If this cool dude sounds like he would fit in with your family, make an appointment to spend some time with Steve then you can adopt him for $75. **All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be allowed inside - especially at night and during extreme weather. No dog is allowed to be put on a "tie out or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced-in yard. ** Not ready to adopt? Help care for Steve with your donation to New Leash on Life. (Pet ID D22-125)

Story
Silly Lil Stella is a young, perfect sized, medium girl that has the best smile and the most fun personality.  This white nugget is believed to be a Beagle/Greyhound mix who is only 18 months old and 34 pounds.  Stella is super cuddly and loving and looks much smaller than her weight suggests.  She is light and wispy and easy to have on your lap and does so well with other companion dogs and cats in the home.  She is housebroken and crate trained and was found as a stray that needed a helping hand.  She would be a great companion for a single person or young couple or even empty nesters.  She will need physical exercise outlets daily and would thrive learning new commands and dog manners.  If you are interested in this girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  August 18, 2024, 3:49 pm

Story
My name is Elvis and I am from Tennessee and I want to rock your world with the best Beagle fun ever.  I was found as a thin little guy who is about 4 months old. I weigh 11 pounds currently.  I am looking for that perfect Beagle family that has a fenced yard and who adores my breed with all our funny quirks.  I am so loving and friendly with everyone.  I am not housetrained yet, but working on it and I am learning what a nice crate is all about.  I will probably be a 25 pound adult Beagle in a few months when fully grown.  I love kids, cats, other dogs and I love going places with my people. If you are interested in adopting me please let Critter Cavalry Rescue know!   They are ready for me to find the perfect family that understands how cool Beagles are.  Please email them at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
It seems the world's in such chaos and desperation and obviously the animals are suffering greatly. This girl named Dixie has hair loss only due to the huge flea infestation that she came to a vet's office with as she was left in a crammed crate too small for her and 4 other dogs.  There they sat in the heat of August and full of fleas and miserable and not able to move because they were sitting on top of each other. They had belong to an elderly woman that was going to a nursing home and her son who would cared for the dogs for a short time had obviously not done his job. He dropped them off on the front porch and left with just a little bit of an explanation on they need a home We can't keep them My mom's going into it nursing home and I can't take care of them. We're trying to take care of them as a responsible rescue group. I have taken two from the set of four and I need Foster homes for three others. What we know about these dogs is that they are sweet shy submissive kind and under the age of four. They're no larger than 26 lb or less. I just need to have foster homes it will help Critter Calvary take them in get them what they need quickly and find them good homes. They will be beauties once the hair grows back because they are already beautiful inside. Can you help can you help them feel love and safety and comfort and the promise that they'll have a far better life than they've been living. Write to us please today quickly they won't stay long. We don't have a magic wand but they won't stay long. People love beagles and they're the perfect size for a family that doesn't want a large dog and maybe has children that want to be loved by a very gentle kind and easygoing dog breed. Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com mention where you live, city and state. We can work outside of Tennessee. with four other dogs. Thank you so much for considering a possible whisper in the ear from God to please step up and help.  We pay the bills and all you do is pay in time and love to a dog that you can foster. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.August 18, 2024, 3:49 pm
