Stormy is an eight-year-old, 22-pound male Beagle with a heart full of love and a wagging tail that never stops. He's super friendly and loves to crawl into your lap to soak up all the affection he can get. Pets and especially butt scratches are his absolute favorites!He's a typical Beagle - always in the center of the action and full of joy. His tail wags with delight, and he loves giving and receiving kisses, too. He leans into affection, making soft, happy grunting noises.He wants to be as close to you as possible, and he'll make sure you feel that you are his one and only every moment you're together. Are you ready for a sweet, affectionate companion like Stormy? You couldn't ask for more in a sweetheart like Stormy!- - - - -Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience. This pup was originally rescued from a commercial breeding facility. They were on their euthanasia list as they were unable to be sold and was "taking up space". Another local rescue stepped in and rescued dozens of dogs scheduled for euthanasia, but did not have enough space for all of them, so a few were transferred into our care. We have been able to provide them with vet care and get them ready to be adopted.   We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. Dogs adopted with our rescue come with FREE training from #GoodPup to help you build strong bonds from the start! If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free Pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with Pet First pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. 0624138 - Hello! My name is Charlie. If you are looking for a funny, sweet beagle then you’ve found me. I love being scratched behind my ears, eating good food, chasing rabbits, and taking naps. Haha… my foster dad jokes that if I ever do catch a rabbit, then that rabbit must have been on its last leg I am the luckiest girl in the world. I am finally free from breeding and am ready for a new adventure with my new family. There are so many things I can’t wait to try. I am so easy-going and probably a little independent but I do prefer another dog pal or to be around people.  I don't love being left alone (but do okay when I have to be). I currently live with my foster sisters: a large Pittie mix, a medium Shepherd mix, and a bossy Chihuahua mix. I am also good with kids.  I do fine in a crate, and I know how to use a doggie door. I will let you know when I’m ready to leave my crate… haha. I learned how to use the dog door my first day. I am very smart! If you work with me I am willing to learn other new things, too.
