Story
Alice aka Allie is a sweet, friendly, local surrender who's mom found herself in a new living situation and although she loved her deeply, was unable to keep her. Allie has recently been diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. She is doing well on the medication; is perkier and her insatiable thirst has subsided. Allie is extremely food driven. She LOVES food and is constantly looking for some. If you have treats in hand, she will be your best friend! She enjoys walks and happily greets people and other dogs. Allie is looking for an adopter willing to continue her treatment as she will need to stay on her medication for the rest of her life. Allie is being fostered south of Boston and is available for visits.

Story
Sadie is a beautiful, super sweet beagle from the south. She is what is referred to as a field beagle; a little taller than your typical beagle. She is a failed hunting dog who lived her life in an outdoor kennel. Now that she has experienced living in a home, she thinks it’s pretty fantastic! She is still a little nervous getting used to all the sights and sounds, but enjoys being petted and is affectionate. She will need a patient adopter who will give her time to continue to adjust to living in a home, and learn how to walk on leash. Once she acclimates, she will be a wonderful companion. Sadie is good with the other dogs and cats. Sadie is being fostered south of Boston.

Story
Hunter is a transfer from another rescue who pulled him from a southern shelter, vetted him and treated him for heartworm, but unfortunately, were not getting any interest in this handsome boy. They reached out to us for help, hoping a breed specific rescue would be able to find him his forever family. Hunter is a typical beagle. He LOVES food and needs to learn some manners around it. He searches, nose to the ground, very intently to be sure he has gotten every scrap and crumb there may be! Once he is sure the area is crumb free, he’s ready to move on for a walk or to chill out with his peeps. He is friendly, playful and affectionate, seeking out love and attention. He can be vocal and although he is crate trained, he doesn’t like being crated if his humans are milling about. He would not do well in an apartment or townhouse environment. Hunter will be arriving in early September.
