You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hello! I’m Tanbo (now named Snoop). I was adopted from Last Day Dog Rescue as a pup and now see myself back here due to family issues. I’m a very inquisitive pup and like to find my way into many things, but I’m learning that I’m not allowed to do so.  Anything to do with treats and I’ll be right there with you, but if you have your own food, I may sniff it. I really like to play with toys. As long as the toys are not stuffed, we won’t have a mess. I shred them within minutes, so harder chews would be best. I like to go for walks, I’m leash trained with slight pulling but I’m learning how not to do that. While we are out on our walks, I like to sniff everything I can because it’s all so interesting to me. After our long walks I like to curl up on the couch next to my humans and sleep. I enjoy being under the covers with them as well! When meeting new people, I do bark. Once I get to know them, I’m fine. I do get along with other dogs, I just bark a lot. However, I also resource guard my toys, so being an only dog may be best for me. I do chase cats, so I might not be the best with them. My current humans think I may have some separation anxiety, so for now I will have to be in a crate until I calm down and learn they will come back. I was just recently diagnosed with Cushing’s disease so I will be medicated for the rest of my life, but that doesn’t make me any different to love. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. November 15, 2024, 9:15 am

1. PLEASE NOTE: Breed mix info is the best guess of Bark Bark Wag and our vets. There is no way to know for certain what any dog's breed mix is or whether they may be "hypoallergenic" without a DNA test; and most mixed-breed dogs may have 3, 4, 5+ different breeds in their mix! 2. MUST READ --THE FIRST STEP: Go to www.barkbarkwag.org and click on "Let's Get Started!" to learn about our easy 3-step adoption process & apply to adopt! *PLEASE NOTE: WE NEED AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TO START THE PROCESS* ARLO Adorable Arlo is a pale-green-eyed 14 week-old cutie who is sparkling with charm and personality! He's a stunning and unique blend of the three Bs--Beagle, Bully and maybe a little Boston--he's even got a cute Boston Terrier "Haggerty spot" on his head and he's adorably cow-spotted too! Arlo is a playful and lovable puppy who is on the go until until his battery runs low, then it's snooze and snuggle time for this little champion cuddler! Arlo is 14# for now, and our best guess at his adult weight is 40-45#. He's learning about crate-training and potty-training, and making good progress! His favorite activities include car rides, nylabone gnawing, big naps, toy squeaking, and giving a million kisses to his foster family! Arlo also loves eating meals out of his puzzle bowl, and bellyrubs (of course)! The best fit family for Arlo will be moderately active, with (or without) respectful kids 8+, who will include Arlo as part of the family and include him in couch snuggle time! He requires a doggie housemate already living in the home, who he can BFF with and learn from; as well as a physical fenced yard. His ideal family will also provide a consistent schedule and lots of love while Arlo continues to learn. He's an amazing puppy boy who is growing into a delightful young man and a wonderful, loyal companion! **Adoption preference will be given to families who plan to attend positive puppy manners classes with their new pup!** APPLICATION & INFO: https://barkbarkwag.org/adopt.html A certificate will be provided by the Rescue upon request toward spay/neuter at 6 months of age, redeemable at Doctor Paws Veterinary Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi I'm Garbanzo! I'm new to this world so I'm a bit shy and timid but my curiosity makes me want to explore the world around me. I love wrestling with my sister and I love cuddling. It might be my favorite thing to do! I play hard and sleep hard and sometimes I have a lot to say especially when I'm playing with my sister! And toys! They are so fun!  Garbanzo is crate trained and working on potty training. He'd make quite a great family dog and loves people and children!     HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contra ct by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a    $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee    to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Daisy Duke! This little beagle girl wandered into the garage of a older couple's home.  We aren't sure of her age, but she appears to be a younger adult beagle.  As the pictures show, she was very thin.  Although the couple couldn't keep her, they took good care of her until she could be picked up by Animal Control.  The couple said she was quiet, content to snooze in her crate, kept her crate clean, and ate well for them.   Daisy Duke is now in a foster home with HDDCR.  We don't know much of her history, but it appears that she was on her own for a while.  She is adjusting nicely in her foster home.  She is reportedly good with both cats and dogs.  Daisy Duke will be visiting the vet for a health check-up, vaccines, microchip, and spay if needed.   If you are considering a new fur-baby, please take a look at Daisy Duke.       Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption.
