Meet Sadie! Sadie is very pretty girl, with the most soulful eyes brown eyes you have ever seen, and the sweetest freckles on her legs. She's a happy girl, aways wagging her tail and often has a smile. She is gentle and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She puts up with the tiny residence dogs when they pull her ears, jump up on her or nip her legs. She tries to play with them but they don't reciprocate. She would do well with another dog her size to play with. She loves to be outside and let her hound nose take over. She enjoys smelling the outdoor smells, perhaps sensing the bunnies or squirrels who visited the yard before her. Sadie is crate trained, but would much prefer being with her person at night.  If you don't like doggie kisses, you won't fancy Sadie! She loves to give the people she loves her sweet kisses, probably as much as she loves peanut butter and cheese. Feline friends are safe with Sadie. She lives with some now and has no interest in them (except their litter boxes of course). As she is young, she has youth exuberance and we are working on manners. She has not had any interaction with children, but with her gentle nature and medium size, I believe a family would be good for her. Unfortunately, Sadie came into rescue with heartworms.
