Chance loves to go for walks, likes being outside in the summer but lives in the house. Chance is looking to be rehomed as his mom has a young child and is expecting another soon. Chance’s grandparents took him in but they have two dogs of their own and three dogs is too much. Chance would love to find a home where he would be loved, walked and cuddled.

Story
Hi! I am Belle! Look at how cute I am! I was a momma in Alabama and am getting used to my new surroundings here in Minnesota. I might be shy at first with new people, but once I am comfortable, I love to cuddle and I have been told that I am a very sweet girl. I love going for walks and sniffing all the smells outside. I am not a huge fan of my crate, but my foster is helping me get used to it. I can’t wait to meet my new family and show them how amazing I am! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hi, my name is Otis, and I recently traveled here all the way from Alabama to find my forever home. I am about 2 years and only weigh 25 pounds. My foster mom tells me I am the sweetest boy because I like to snuggle and be close to her whenever I can. Besides snuggling, I love being outside, chasing squirrels and playing tug of war with my fur sister. Oh... and I love getting belly rubs! When my foster parents go out, I don't mind staying in my kennel and will sleep in there at night too. But because I am such a good sleeper, I get to sleep with my foster parents. I am a very spunky, happy pup and get along great with other dogs. Although it would be nice to have a fur brother or sister to play with, I would also be ok with being your one and only and getting all the love and attention. My foster mom says that I am a very good boy, and I am going to be a great addition to any family. Could that be you? --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  I know you want to meet me. I will be at Chuck & Don's, Eden Prairie, 8022 Den Rd, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 for an Adoption Event on Saturday, March 15th from 11:00-1:00 pm. Please email inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com for questions regarding the dogs.       Hey there, I’m Pako! If you're looking for a playful, snuggly, and downright adorable puppy to add some fun to your life, you’ve found your guy. I’m a 12-lb bundle of joy and wrinkles – yep, I’m a Puggle, and I know how to steal hearts with just one look. I’m still learning the ropes (I’m under 6 months old, after all), but I promise I’m doing my best to be a good boy! I’m super social and love playing with people, my two doggy friends, and even your kiddos! I’m still figuring out the potty thing (accidents happen, right?), but I’m getting better every day. I’m food-driven and will do anything for a treat – seriously, I haven’t met one I didn’t like. And when I’m all pooped out from playing hard, I’m ready to snuggle up in your lap and snooze away like an old man, complete with some cute little snores. When I’m not chewing on bones or playing with my doggy pals, I love my daily walks and am making great progress on leash training. I’m still a work in progress, but I’ll be walking like a pro in no time! I’m crate-trained and sleep like a champ, but I do get a little sad when you leave – who can blame me? I just want to be with you! I’m great with other dogs of all sizes, and while I don’t necessarily need another dog to be happy, I’d definitely love to have a furry friend to play with. Oh, and did I mention I’m a total showstopper? Everyone who meets me falls in love with my sweet personality and those adorable wrinkles! If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and slightly snuggly Puggle to add to your family, I’m your guy. I’m ready to shower you with love, playtime, and, of course, lots of naps. Let’s make some memories together!  **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! P lease note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   This puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion. Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Rambler (6yo, 50lb) is a presumed Beagle/Lab/Terrier mix and needs a home with another dog around his size & age to show him that being a dog IS pretty cool! Rambler came to us from a background of hardship. We aren't sure about his whole story, but came to rescue as a meek and skinny boy and was missing half of his ear. He also came to rescue with heartworm. He was successfully treated and has been diligently kept on Heartguard (Tri Heart Plus) ever since.  He has made HUGE progress since being in rescue. This guy deserves to find his forever home. He is working on trusting humans, new dogs, and being away from his foster mom. We think Rambler would do best in a laid-back home with a solid 6ft fence, a confident dog, and a human who is patient and ready for him to break out of his shell. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, and tries to be very brave when he meets new dogs. "Treats!" is one of his favorite words! Rambler is a true diamond in the rough. He is our longest resident (Aug. 2021) and we are hopeful that his perfect human is out there.   Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website  here  If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Rambler's a doption is $525 + tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@12 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dog's actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information ond observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 28, 2025, 10:45 pm

Story
**Fenced yard highly recommended ** Brigid is 18 pounds of love in a fur coat. This amazing girl was left with a large group of abandoned puppies in Texas, only some of them her own, and loved them all until she came to Healing Hearts. She continued to mother the smallest and sickest until they were ready for adoption, and now here she is, ready for her own life of love and joy. Brigid is very affectionate and loves to snuggle, as well as play (balls and crinkly toys are the best!) and patrol the yard for squirrel incursions. She is mostly potty trained, though if left for long periods she has an occasional accident. She has gotten along well with other dogs outside of protecting her little ones and loves snuggling with them if her humans aren’t available. Her canine playmates have ranged from tiny chihuahua puppies, to an older poodle puppy, to a 70 pound pittie mix, and she has adapted her play style to each extremely well. She also loves playing with cats, though a bit too much and too aggressively, so she would do best in a cat-free home. She has welcomed and loved all visitors, after a bit of door barking to let everyone know company has arrived. Not surprisingly with her beagle background, she may not be the best choice for a shared wall situation. Brigid is finally done with her motherhood journey and ready to begin her solo story. Are you the one she’s going to love on forever?
