Story
We adopted Mya a few years ago from a local family she is almost 6 years old now. She likes to cuddle when we are home. She sleeps well in a kennel at night if in same room as you but can get distressed if she is left alone in kennel. She does best to let her roam free in house when gone for extended periods of time. Mya is great with other dogs and would do good in a home with multiple dogs or with someone that is home all the time. Unfortunately we are not home enough to give her the attention that she is needing.

Story
Born in the shelter shortly after their extremely pregnant mother was rescued. They are wonderful group of pups. They were a pleasure to watch as they grew older. The pups love to play in water and could spend their day in a pool. The pups are very sweet and would make wonderful additions to any family. They don't mind cats *been around since the day they were born) and they would do great with other dogs. They are short and stocky but adorable as can be. We've had wonderful feedback on their adopted siblings and we hope the remaining 3 will find homes before their birthday.If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

This sweet girl came from a horrible place where she had to fend for herself to stay alive. Cindi was forced to do things that are unimaginable to the human mind, but this sweet pup never gave up the hope that someone out there could help her and her siblings. Cindi lacks social interaction with humans and is learning how to trust and respect each human she comes in contact with. Unfortunately, this beautiful little girl has no idea what being house trained means. We believe Cindi would be a wonderful addition to a home with an owner that has experience with dogs and their traumatic history. She was a feral dog at one point but now has the chance to become a loving house pet.
