That's quite impressive considering he is so young. At such a young age, this beagle mix has learned to let his person know when he needs to go potty. He loves to play with K9 friends, shares his toys and does not get grumpy about sharing his food. He doesn't mind a good rub-a-dub-dub in the tub as long as it means he gets to cuddle on the couch with you. Butter is a good mix of affectionate and energetic. He does well in crowds, hasn't met a stranger he didn't like and does well on a leash. Adorable Ross is a sweet adult beagle boy looking for a home. He's a sweet, dog friendly boy, 5-6 years old and fully grown at 28 lbs. Ross is new to the rescue so we are just getting to know him, but he's your typical beagle boy -- he loves to go on sniffaries to smell all of the smells. Ross likes everyone he meets. He needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his nose into trouble. If you would like to meet Ross, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Ross at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period.
