Story
We are getting ready to move from a house to an apartment in which we can not have dogs. It is very difficult to rehome the pups but it is what needs to happen and we just want Ralphie to find a "Fur ever" home that treats him with kindness, love, and provides him attention. Ralphie is a sweet beagle mix and is 6 years old. He gets along with the other dogs in the family, including Shadow, Garcia, Copper, & Doodle (all are beagle mixes as well). They range in age and size, Doodle & Copper are under 10lbs while Garcia and Shadow are approximately 15 and 20 lbs. There are a mixture of males and females in the home so this is not an issue either. Ralphie however, is more of a loner dog. He doesn't mind the others but he hangs back and observes their play rather than participate. He is extremely quiet, not a barker, and very friendly.

Story
Copper needs a "Fur Ever" home soon! We have to leave our home and move to an apartment where dogs are not permitted. Please take a look at his profile and see what a wonderful addition he would be to your family. Copper is one of many dogs in the family and loves to play. He especially loves to hang out with Spaz and Shadow, two other beagle mixes in the home. He also likes to play with the humans in the home as well. When playtime and feeding time are over he loves to get cuddly and chill. He is a very loving little guy who deserves a great family who will bring him as much joy and he will them.

Dog's Name: Skittles Gender: Female Current Age: 2 years Current Weight: 40lbs Expected Adult Size: Medium (25-50 lbs) Breed: Beagle Mix Energy Level: Medium-High Dog Friendliness: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog Cat Friendliness: Unknown Kid Friendliness: Yes to kids 8 years old or older Good fit for an apartment? No Physical Fence: Physical fence required, any height Crate Trained: Skittles is crated at night, for meals and for an hour or two during the day Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home / Adopter: Skittles would love a family with another dog and/or children 8 and older who can help her explore and burn some energy. The more people and dogs to play with, the better! She is active, loves to run, jump and chase a ball. Skittles would make a wonderful running and hiking partner. Likes: Play, fetch a ball, explore, snuggles and nap. Repeat. Preferably several times a day. Skittles loves balls and fluffy toys. Dislikes: Skittles whines some if left alone and very much prefers to be with her humans or another dog, or at least be able to see them. Additional considerations: Skittles will make a great family dog and/or companion for another dog in the home. What makes this dog special? Skittles is estimated to be 2 years old however, she is very much like a puppy. Skittles is that friend who is the life of the party and never wants to miss meeting or spending time with everyone at the party! Skittles can scale a set of stairs two at a time and will likely be a kangaroo in her next life as jumping is in her blood. She's goofy, playful, snuggly and has never met a human or dog she doesn't like. Snuggle time is a must and she will gently nudge her way under your arm for maximum snuggles. Skittle's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##2110530##

Name: Dolly Gender: Female Age: 1 year Current Weight: 30lbs Expected Adult Size: Medium (25-50 lbs) Breed: Beagle mix Energy Level: Medium-high Dog Friendly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog Cat Friendly: Unknown Kid Friendly: Yes to kids 8 years old or older Apartment Friendly: No Physical Fence Requirement: Physical fence preferred but not required with regular walks/exercise Crate Trained: Yes for short periods of time Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home/Adopter: Dolly loves to play and cuddle and just wants to be around her person. Dolly is a real doll baby she is so sweet. Likes: Dolly loves to go on adventure walks, eat all the treats, play with all the toys and give lots of kisses. Dolly even got her foster to let her sleep in her bed (don’t tell the other 3 dogs). Dislikes: Dolly dislikes the crate. In her previous home she was in it a lot. She's been a good girl when left out in the house and would prefer a crate free forever home where she can roam. Additional Considerations:  Dolly can still get excited in the morning and that’s when she thinks she’s an alligator. What makes this dog special: Dolly is a confident dog who will make someone a great best friend. Dolly is a go lucky gal and it’s easy to make her happy! She is good motivated and a snuggle bug. Story
You must look into this girls big, deep beautiful blue eyes!!!! Visually she's stunning! She's also very sweet, very laid back! Very kind, great with other dogs . Walks nicely on leash great in her kennel. Gentle with children . She's actually quite a remarkable little gem. Low maintenance . Chelsea would make a great family pet because she would slide in quite seamlessly . She is in a foster home in Memphis, Tennessee. Once an application has been submitted and approved her foster family would love to show her off to you. We use a transport company called Rescue Vet Transport to get our pets from Memphis, Tennessee to the Midwest and the north east. They travel to the north east each and every weekend, leaving Memphis Friday morning around 6 AM and delivering pets along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. You will find our volunteer team to be very responsive so please refrain from submitting your application until you're ready to welcome your new furry friend! https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Margaret was found in the woods and brought to me about a few months ago. She is very friendly and loves to play. Unfortunately I am not able to care for her. She is house broke. She needs room to run. She is a runner and doesn't listen very well. She seems to get a long with other dogs but not cats or other animals. She would be great for someone who lives outside of the city.
