Story
Meet Sugar! Sugar is a 3-month-old, 8-pound lab/beagle mix. She is full of playful puppy energy and loves being around her people. She loves her toys and especially enjoys playing tug-o-war with the family dog. She gets along great with other dogs and lives with four cats but it is recommended that the cat is dog-savvy and not afraid to stand up for themselves since Sugar gets excited to see them. While Sugar has lots of energy, she also appreciates snuggle time. When she gets worn out from a play session, she loves to cuddle up in your lap and sleep like a baby. Sugar is a smart little girl and will need to learn basic dog skills like house training and walking on a leash. She is eager to please. If Sugar sounds like the perfect little puppy for you, apply today! Sugar is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Meet Copper! Copper is a 3-month-old, 7-pound lab/beagle mix. Copper's absolutely adorable little face with a white dot on his nose is just the beginning of the list of reasons you will fall in love with him. He is full of puppy energy and absolutely loves the humans he's with. Copper loves to be held in your arms and will plant as many kisses on your cheek as you want! He is one of the "Rock"-in twins with his brother Obsidian (Obbie). Copper and Obbie love to rough-house together but, when it's nap time, they snuggle up close in their crate and keep each other company. Copper is inquisitive of other animals, including cats and other dogs, and has shown nothing but his innate sweetness to them. He loves to play with his toys and has been quickly learning to use his puppy pads. If you are looking for a loving little buddy that won't get too big and will get along with other animals, then Copper is the one for you! Copper is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00. Story
Meet Obsidian (AKA Obbie)! Obbie is a 3-month-old, 10-pound lab/beagle mix. Even though he is just a young puppy, Obbie is already showing a heart of gold! He is an energetic pup who loves to horse around with his little brother Copper, one of "Rock"-in twins. Obbie is quickly learning how to play fetch and will proudly bring his ball back to you so you can throw it again! He plays with typical puppy energy with his brother but then will crash next to him once playtime is over and they curl up in their crate. Obbie is quite the gentleman when he sits on your lap, snuggling close especially as nap time gets nearer. He is very inquisitive of both cats and other dogs and shown nothing but love in the limited interactions he's had with them. Obbie is also getting pretty good at using his puppy pads and he loves to be with his people. He is a fan of all toys and treats. If you are looking for an adorable puppy that gives lots of kisses and won't get too big, Obbie is for you! Obsidian is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00. Story
January 2024: Estee is a sweet loving dog who loves to be petted. Because of her background she needs a quiet home with secure fencing. She would make a excellent pet for older person or couple. She is now around 4 years old and 20 lbs. Soft ears and soft eyes! She still has some accidents in her crate if left over 6 hours. She will use pads and goes outside easily. She prefers a few zoomies in the yard and then a nice dog bed. Does great with the other dogs, cats unknown. Not a mean bone in her body. February 2023: She is doing great, will make a fine family member for a quiet home with a physical fenced in yard. She is still a flight risk so no small children with the house doors. She must have a secure fence. May 2022: Estee was pulled from Bracken County. She was found as a stray and was likely an unsocialized puppy living away from people. For the first two months she was terrified to come in from outside (carried for 2 months) and a month after that to go out on her own. She is still a little leery of doorways. Estee is 2 years old and 20 lbs. She is the sweetest pup, who is doing great going outside for potty. she does us her crate and will, potty in it sometimes. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Reno - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fabulous people out there. My name is Reno and I'm looking for a home, a family...one to call my very own!! I was pulled from the local shelter where I've spent 4 out of the 6 months of my life. I've never had a family before and I keep hearing how this thing is sooooo pawsome!! And, since you're reading this could it possibly be that... YOU will be my family?!! I am a very sweet fella that enjoys all things puppy. I love exploring this big ole world, playing with the other pups here at my foster home, getting lovins from my people, playing in the water, going for walks, you know...anything puppy!! I adore my people both tall and small, I love playing with the other pups and although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, at my tender age with proper introductions, I should do great with them too. I'm about 6 months of age and come in around 20ish lbs so I should be a great mediumish size when I get myself fully growed up. That's the perfect size for sharing in ALL your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting, everything that includes us doing them together!! I've got those fabulous classic handsome good looks that will have heads turning, for sure!!
