Story
Bean is an extremely sweet tempered good boy. He requires lots of love and attention. We acquired him as a puppy from a hunter in GA. He is now 6 years old. He is looking for a more relaxed home environment where he can be the center of attention. We are a military family who moves and travels a lot. We now have a 3 year old son and a 1 year old daughter who cause a lot of stress on this little guy. His stress levels have caused him to have an Addisons attack about 2 years ago. He survived the attack and is now stable with low cost medication to help him maintain cortisol levels. However we now realize that he needs more of a calm environment and we are unable to provide this lifestyle for him at this time. He is an emotional boy who requires a lot of love and snuggles. Please help us find his forever home!!

Rue is a purebred beagle that was given to us as a puppy. She is beautiful, smart, curious, and loves attention. She is motivated by praise. She loves to curl up on your lap for a nap and just wants to be with her people, what ever it is you are doing. She likes other beagles but is anxious around new dogs. She is a sweetheart! She likes rubber duckies, squeaker toys, and balls, and likes to watch Oliver the Beagle on You Tube. She is good with people, kids, and cats. We love her very much, and want her to go to a great home.

Location: Lexington, SC Name: Demi Age: 1 year (DOB: 11/23/22) Breed: Beagle Mix - was told the dad is full blooded beagle and mom is hound mix of some sorts. She is 30 lbs M/F: F Spayed/Neutered/Shots: yes - UTD on rabies, distemper/dhpp, heartworm prevention, and been spayed. Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: fine with dogs and kids. Can cat test upon request. can be a bit timid around louder children but does warm up eventually as she was raised around children. Aggression or medical issues?: none Reason for rehoming?: neighbor's dog got out and got their pup pregnant before she could be fixed (is fixed now) Would you like rescue help?: no - already being rehomed through one House/crate trained?: yes! not this biggest fan of the crate still but is tolerating it. Additional info/story (personality): Can be quite timid at first but warms up decently fast as long as there is another dog in the home. Was raised with big dogs and plays with other dogs like a big dog. If no other dog, she tends to get displaced as she is a follower. Does decent on a leash once adjust to new owner and understanding surroundings but would probably do best in a home with a fenced in yard. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.
