Story
Hello there! My name is Pistol Pete. I’m one of 9 pups born on May 6, and I'm now ready for my forever home! Here are some things you should know about me: Personality: I'm outgoing, playful, and full of energy. Give me some appropriate toys and watch me go! I love to explore and discover new things, so you have to keep an eye on me to make sure I don’t chew something I shouldn’t!  And while I'm always up for a good romp and play session, don't worry. I also adore snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. Ideal Home: I'm looking for a home with people who can shower me with love and attention. It's important that my new family has the time to feed me three times a day and won't be away for more than about 4 hours at a time. I'm still learning about the world, so I need help with socialization—introducing me to new people, places, and experiences, as well as house training – so I can grow into a confident adult. Compatibility: I love playing with my litter mates, so a home with another small dog would be great. A cat or kitten would probably be okay too, if they keep their claws in!  As for children, since I’m just a baby, I’d do best in a home with older kiddos - ages 8 and up should be just fine. Why Choose Me: With my playful spirit and loving nature, I promise to bring endless joy and companionship to your home. Whether we're going on adventures together or simply cuddling up on the couch, I'll be your loyal companion through it all. If you think I could be a good match for your family, please email info@savethestrays.org for their application. My adoption fee is $300.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 14, 2024, 10:32 pm

Story
Bailey Beagle is a very sweet lovable fellow. He loves to snuggle in laps and hide under a blanket. He needs a home where there is a stay at home dad/mom, or someone who works from home or is around much of the day. He is fine by himself, doesn't chew or tear up anything, and doesn't have "accidents", but gets anxious when left. And, of course, he goes bonkers when you return home! He loves to go on walks and does well on a leash. During the night, he stays in a crate beside the bed, and he rides wonderfully in a crate in the car. There are no problems with "accidents" and he is trained to press a button at the door to ask to go out. I go out a lot and take him to doggie day care, so he is well used to being with other dogs. He is not around little children much, but I think he would do fine once he is used to their behaviors. He comes with 2 crates, 3 beds, food and water bowls, leashes and harness. He is healthy and just needs a home where people are around most of the time.
