Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sophie is the absolute sweetest most precious beagle ever and technically is in foster with several other dogs as well as came from a hoarding situation of 25+ dogs. However, because of the hoarding situation, she seems to have a tendency to overreact with dogs in her space, so there is lots of growling with the potential for more if not respected. So we are recommending no other dogs in the home for this precious girl unless the owner is commited to giving Sophie her space as needed. She does not mind the cats nearly as much, but cats also typically don't invade a dog's space even when they are super friendly. She cuddles and sleeps with her foster mom though whenever she can and is quick to roll over and ask for belly rubs. This beautiful, petite little angel is just precious and we know she will find the best forever home soon.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2025, 11:01 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Carly is your typical love everyone, fear nothing beagle. Despite a limp/lameness in her rear leg, she runs, plays, and gets around as though she were fully abled. Like all beagles, she LOVES food and attention. She can't get enough of either, so if you are looking for a loving companion who can also provide you hours of fun, Carly is your girl. She even found entertainment in watching the washer spin laundry! If you love beagles, Carly is going to win you over instantly. Story
Meet LuLu, a sociable, energetic 10-year-old beagle/shepard mix. Her favorite things are people (especially kids), car rides and walks. LuLu is well loved by her owners and was raised as an indoor dog, but because of family circumstances, she is currently living outside. She misses her daily human interaction and would thrive with a family that can spend time with her, take her on car rides and daily walks. Although diagnosed with hip dysplasia, but this does not dim LuLu’s outlook on life or her ability to take short walks. Her owners are looking to rehome her to a family that will be able to provide for her needs and give her lots of love and attention. This girl is heartworm negative, spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines. All you have to do is meet this sweet, senior pup to fall in love with her. LuLu’s adoption fee has been sponsored. Please apply at apsofpc.org. #apsofpc #seniordogOctober 28, 2024, 11:26 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi … my name is Jack!  I have some special needs because I am super shy and I am a flight risk.  Read my bio to find out everything you need to know about me.   If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online. We do not have a lot of information on Jack’s past, only that a Good Samaritan rescued this sweet beagle boy from a bad situation.  We have no idea why he is so terrified of people, but we have noted that he is generally less afraid of women and that he is terrified of anyone carrying anything in their hands. Jack is such a handsome boy and it is heartbreaking to see him so scared of everything.  His eyes say it all.  We’re pretty sure there is a lot of love inside this sweet boy that he would like to share with someone.  As scared as he is, he has never shown any aggression towards people. He even went through multiple surgeries to correct cherry eye in both eyes and he was a perfect patient during recovery when he had to wear the awful ‘cone of shame’ and had to have eye drops multiple times every day. Approximate age/birthdate:  May 19 2019 Weight/size:  30 lbs Housebroken:  YES unless he gets scared and piddles Crate trained:  YES Personality: extremely shy, very wary of people, enjoys the company of other dogs Energy level: medium Fenced yard required?:  YES a 6’ physical fence is required, NO EXCEPTIONS, no underground/electric fence. Does he/she jump fences?  He definitely could jump or climb a wire fence or chain link fence.  He did escape from a foster home yard once and it was scary! His current yard has privacy fencing. Leash walk with manners:  YES … once you get a harness on him, he will walk, although hesitantly when he is taken to a new location Obedience training:  NO Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK      Spayed/neutered:   YES Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES Microchipped:   YES Social with other dogs:  YES Social with cats: NO CATS will be best Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.  He will often shy away from human touch, so children would need to be mature enough to understand his fear and the responsibilities of keeping him safe. Adoption donation: $175 We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Jack picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com if you have additional questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 1:59 pm
